ALMS Round 4 *Series Champions!!*

Only a matter of days after the flag fell in Sepang, we were setting up in Buriram, Thailand.

This race had it all to play for, mathmatically there were 4 cars that could be crowned champions.

We treated this race like every other, and managed to get a Nielsen Racing front row lock out, with our car, car 2 on Pole!!

That was the 1st part of the weekend complete, now to just stay there!

Unfortunately Tony made a little mistake in his 1st stint and a couple of our championship rivals managed to squeeze past. But this is a 4 hour race, theres still plenty of time to make up the lost ground!

Luckily for us, two of the other cars fighting for the championship suffered mechanical issues, and couldnt complete the race, the 4th car, was leading the race. We had to finish 2nd to seal the championship.

When Colin got in the car, he was on fire. He was consistently the fastest LMP3 on track.

As the checkered flag fell, he was in 2nd place!

CHAMPIONS!!! We had done it! We were crowned Asian Le-Mans Series LMP3 Champions!

The grand prize?! and entry into the prestigious (and arguably the best race in the world) the 24 hours of Le-Mans!

Nielsen Racing are due to take part in the 24 hours of Le-Mans 2020, scheduled for the 13th and 14th June and we will be there to support them again.
