HSCC Finals

We have just returned from Silverstone where we spent a cold and windy weekend with Speedsport running one of their Historic Formula Fords. Speedsport had 3 cars racing at the weekend.

All cars and drivers performed well throughout the weekend with the car which we were looking after finishing a respectable 18th and 22nd out of 36.

The teams number 1 driver (Michael O'Brien) qualified pole and won the 1st race, before a puncture put him out of the 2nd race on the last lap.

This meant that Michael missed out on claiming the championship title by just 1 point.

While we are all gutted for him, he had an excellent championship campaign, with a reliable car and kept a clean nose. With the only DNF being because of a puncture mid-race and his lowest finish being 4th, he couldn't have been in a better position. However, it just wasn't meant to be.

This is possibly our last race weekend of the season as we do not have anything penciled in the diary, but will not rule out a last minute call-up to help our customers out if they decide to do something else before the season finishes completely.
